About the Area

The closest villages to Cornwell Manor are Kingham, Daylesford, Oddington, and Stow-on-the-Wold. This part of The Cotswolds is 75 miles northwest of London, with Oxford along the way.

By Air

The nearest airport is London Heathrow (LHR), a 1 hour 40 minute drive. We recommend renting a car, as there are no Ubers and limited taxis in the area. There is also a direct train from London Paddington to Kingham (1 hr 30 min) — pre-book a taxi for your arrival in Kingham.

Birmingham (BHX) is also convenient at around 50 minutes and often easier for car hire.

By Train

The GWR service from London Paddington runs regularly to Kingham station — the closest stop to Cornwell Manor — in approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. We recommend booking tickets in advance at gwr.com.

If arriving by train, please pre-book a local taxi from Kingham.

By Car

Cornwell Manor is reached via the A44, near Chipping Norton. Ample parking is available on the estate.

Postcode: Cornwell, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire OX7 5TW

If you are staying at a Daylesford property (The Wild Rabbit, The Fox at Oddington, or a Daylesford cottage), two cars are available for short transfers within a 5-mile radius, subject to availability. For longer distances or advance bookings, the Daylesford Stay Concierge team can assist — book here.

From London

If you're spending time in London before or after the wedding, allow at least two hours for the drive in summer traffic. The Manor is approximately 75 miles northwest of London via the M40, with Oxford along the way.
